SXSW Preview: DJ Anthony Valadez’s “Bands to Watch”
Below are a few of the bands on my radar with regard to SXSW 2011:
1) Foster & People — They have a great fun pop audio. I have listened to a few of their information so it will be really enjoyable to see them live!
Supply Foster the People’s “Helena Beat”Audio clip: Adobe Expensive Player (version 9 or above) is required to play this music clip. Download the latest variation here. You also need to have JavaScript enabled in your browser.
2) Theophilus Greater london – He will be performing fresh rocking performances all across the globe. I remember him reaching out to me about a year ago and hanging out in my family area. After nonstop touring, a Mountain Dew commercial and gaining 12,529 Twitter followers, it will be exciting to reconnect.
3) Phantogram — Should be exciting. Another great band I stumbled upon via an incredible music movie for “When I’m Small“.
4) Attach Kimbie — They come to the States immediate from the UK. After numerous greats songs, including a collaboration with James Blake, I’m fired up to hear what they have in store.
5) Jamie Woon — He is actually opening pertaining to Mount Kimbie at The Windish Agency House at 501 Studios. He is a performer I have had in rotation for the past few months. Jamie sings with his amazing soulful voice and incorporates biological materials into his live shows.
As well as the bands, there are also panels going on. I have never really been directly into panels, until I gone to the New Music Seminar organised by Jason Bentley a few weeks again. With that in mind, I’m looking forward to stopping by the Gold Ears panel, with contains KCRW’s own Garth Trinidad, and hear music executives discuss exactly what ”progressive” is.
Browse the list of panels and speakers and find out what KCRW is up to! I’ll always be introducing bands at Filter Magazine’s Cedar Street showcase upon Friday so stop by and also say hello.

It's obvious that Jason still cares and love Sam and she does too, but it's also clear with the look on Jason's face that he doesn't like the idea of Anthony or anyone else looking at or flirting with Sam. Yes the reason he came up with made sense but we all know why he doesn't want her in that red bikini.
