The Wienstien Company mishandled the first franchise and wrote it well. They only jumped in once they saw progress on a brand new project.

That might tick some individuals off, but that what it really smells like to me. If they acquired any interest in the rebuilding, let alone another sequel, they would have been vocal about continuing with the franchise and/or taking that in another direction. They were doing nothing from it. Nothing. What they did carry out prior to now was run the particular franchise into the ground.

TWC, who is buckled and needs a hit somewhere to hold alive (gee, I question if it was a motive) might distribute the new Crow but permit Relativity produce the picture. If the Weinstiens desire they can be co-producers. Then they should action off and let the filmmakers start working.

Question. Did the Wienstiens file suit the folks who made the TV series Stairway To Paradise? The Weienstiens had nothing to do with that short lived TV series. Jeff Most and Erectile dysfunction Pressman, however, did. In short, all of this is, in my opinion, is a pissing battle and not much else.

Could this stop or delay your remake? Maybe. We will see.
